Since exiting Coffee Nation I have come to realise how fortunate I have been to have experienced such a tremendous journey of entrepreneurship over the past almost twenty years.  From vision to exit and everything in between.

Being an entrepreneur is not for the faint hearted and leading a company from the early days through the high growth go-go years and on to a successful exit is very demanding.  Many founders struggle to adapt to the growing business as it evolves – so limiting the scale of opportunity for their business.  Some lose control of the business they created.

Most successful entrepreneurs have not been afraid to have someone help them navigate the often lonely path of leading a growing business.  I am no exception.

The ex-Chairman of Coffee Nation credited much of my success to my willingness to listen to others that had direct experience of the challenges I faced.  I had to be my own man but I was prepared to look at the part I played and how my behaviour could influence the results we achieved.

I now love helping ambitious entrepreneurs chart their own path to help them and their companies achieve their full potential.
